LA Girls (Song)

LA Girls - Song by Charlie Puth

LA Girls is the third track on Charlie Puth’s album Voicenotes. Written by Jason Evigan, Jacob Kasher, Sean Douglas & Charlie Puth, the song was released on May 11th, 2018 along with the rest of the album.
The song is about Charlie who just got out of a relationship seeking someone better in Los Angeles, but ends up regretting breaking up in the first place because the women in LA would only remind him how much he actually loved the girl he left.
Charlie commented on the song -
"This is one of the songs that I actually wrote entirely on piano in one take. I was showering and like most of the songs on the album I just heard, (hums piano melody) It sounded kind of like (plays piano melody) Kind of sneaky. And, Jake Kash came up with the concept for LA Girls."
Charlie has learnt that dating a woman in LA isn’t as easy as it seems to be. Charlie is now starting to regret leaving his ex-girlfriend for them. Only after leaving, Charlie realises how good his ex was to him and he may never find something better than what they had.
