Somebody Told Me is the eleventh track in Charlie's album Voicenotes. Produced by Puth and Johan Carlsson, this song was released along with the rest of the album on 11th May 2018. The track was written by Johan Carlsson, Jacob Kasher and Charlie and the guitar was played by Jan Ozveren. 

Charlie said about the song -

“Somebody Told Me.” I wanted it to sonically sound like a bunch of kids in a convertible driving to Malibu. It’s the fastest song on the record. And it kind of sounds like Sting (plays piano melody). But I think it’s one of the funnest songs on the record.
