Charlie Puth's Biography

BIOGRAPHY-


Charles Otto Puth Jr is a popular American pop singer and songwriter. He was born on 2nd December 1991. Charlie's mother, Debra Puth was a music teacher while his father, Charles Otto Puth Sr was a real estate agent. Charlie Puth has a younger brother named Stephen Puth and younger sister, Mikaela Puth.  When he was only two years old, he survived a near fatal dog bite incident. However, his right eyebrow received a permanent scar. He started gaining fame by posting his original songs and covers to his YouTube channel. After his talents were exposed to the world he was signed in by Ellen DeGeneres for a record label, which led to the start of his official career.


 His debut studio album, Nine Track Mind was released in January 2016 by the American record label Atlantic Records. A deluxe edition was also released in November which contained three additional songs. Puth wrote, co-produced as well as sang the hook on Wiz Khalifa’s hip-hop anthem ‘See You Again,’ included in the soundtrack of the motion picture ‘Furious 7.’ It became a huge hit, reaching the No. 1 spot in nearly 90 countries worldwide. It also reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, Shazam, iTunes and Spotify, undoubtedly becoming one of the most important works of his career. On 21st April 2017, Charlie released Attention, his lead single to the album Voicenotes. On October 5th 2017, he released How Long, the second song to Voicenotes. Voicenotes was finally released on May 11 2018, containing a total of 13 songs. These include Attention, How Long , Done For Me, The Way I am, and many more. Currently, his third album is being made.  He has expressed gratitude to his parents who worked hard to help him pursue his musical goals. Being not only a vocalist but also a producer, a songwriter, and an instrumentalist, Puth is definitely a multitalented celebrity.
